Matt Krazit, is a Miami/Seattle based musician and teacher.

MK Small

Matt began playing jazz guitar in high school and was accepted to Berklee College of Music in 2004.

After graduating in 2007 with a degree in Professional Music, he moved to Miami to continue his musical pursuits.  While in Miami, Matt was able to immediately start performing/recording with local groups.  After years of performing, recording and teaching he started writing and producing his own music.

Matt's first EP is a 3 song country/pop debut featuring 14 year old singer Maiya Mari.  His second EP is a 3 song R&B/pop album featuring soul singer Corell Brown.

Writing and producing led Matt to get signed by AllSun Records in 2015 as a Writer/Producer/Musical Director/Arranger.  He has composed, recorded and produced songs for R&B legends Timmy Thomas, Tommy Hunt and performed with blues hall of famer Roach Thompson.

Matt enjoys many genres of music and loves to write for singers/artists of any age or style.  He has been commended for being able to highlight an artist’s strength and provide sellable songs tailored to a singer’s style and target audience.

Matt has also developed a teaching system to integrate intermediate players to the language of jazz music.  Using his method, players will develop a large vocabulary of chords, arpeggios and scales that can help them interpret, perform, and practice a lot of jazz music that was not possible before.  His system allows students to use his lessons and apply them to thousands of songs.
